To provide an area in the Fairfield Community for neighborhood involvement and the people of Shreveport/Bossier to produce healthy, nutritious food for our families. To help feed
the hungry. To educate the
importance of the slogan that
“We are what we eat” to all
ages. To give a place where
one can hang out and gather
for fun and fellowship. To learn about both the history as well as the future of gardening. And to work with nature and the soil to produce great fruit and vegetables. To learn about the art of animal
husbandry. And to promote a more healthy lifestyle. And finally, to encourage people to visit, share their creativity, and play a role in the beautiful Historic Fairfield District of Shreveport.
